Sadly though the mane colours messed up (GIMP has this thing where if the shades are too close to each others it detects them as the same colour) so the mane's black outline got merged with the darkest colour and I noticed too late D:

Also Willy's mane, it looks really accurate: I think you nailed it. Which is something I myself not always manage to do (trust me, there are times when I hate myself for giving him that complex manestyle XD). Also, I like the idea for the background, that broken heart.

I know the feeling of giving your characters a very complicated mane! You spend so much time drawing it the first time and you love it, but then regret it every time you have to draw them! It's quite a unique style though, it's rare to see such original manes in my opinion!
I've changed the eye, let me know if that's any better, I wouldn't mind changing it again!

That's so true! Just look at the show for example, how every pony used to look the same (same body/hair model) but now that they're adding new ponies they look way more original and better! You definitely did an amazing job, especially cause I find it so hard to come up with original designs!
