Description I've thought that there are scenes from Tolkien's books which I will never make parody of. So I thought about the scene with Thandorodrim, up to the moment when this idea hit me when I was thinking about technical aspects of rescuing Maedhros.. I don't know wehrer you will like it, but I felt the need to do it. "Maitimo" is the quenya name of Maedhros
(sorry if it's not gramatic but I'm kind of tired right now )

Zawsze myślałam, że są sceny w twórczości Tolkiena, których nie sparodiuję, bo są zbyt wzniosłe i piękne. Tak myślałam też o scenie z Thandorodrimem, aż tu nagle naszedł mnie zupełnie absurdalny pomysł na 'czarnohumorzasty' komiks, kiedy zastanawiałam się nad techncznymi aspektami uwolnienia Meadhrosa Nie wiem czy się Wam spodoba, ale czułam potrzebę zrobienia go.. Nie pokolorowany, ale ledwo zdażyłam zrobić i to przy 3-letnim bratanku demolującym cały dom
"Maitimo" to imie Maedhrosa w Quenyi.

Okay, confession to make--I've loved this since I first stumbled across it about a year ago. Now that I finally have a Deviant account, I can comment! Yay!

This is quite frankly the most hilarious piece of work related to the Silmarillion that I have ever seen. It still makes me laugh . . . The expressions are brilliant, and Fingon's 'Holy Eru!' just kills me. FUNNY.

And you know, I always wondered how exactly this scene went. Even if he cut it off above the wrist - was the chain tight enough to still hold Maedhros in place? Ouch.

Exactly I guess it's better not to think too much about it, as even Tolkien could have left some things not exactly specified.. Perhaps when he wrote 'above' he meant 'above' the chain? I don't know..

As for the comic - I know it's not logical, but this crazy and absurd idea just came to me, and I had to draw it

no wiem, nie biorę jeńców.. ale nic na to nie poradze, ze mnie smiesza takie rzeczy i ze przychodza mi do glowy takie pomysly.. Poza tym, dlaej moge wzruszac sie tą scena, nawet jak ja sparodiuje.. po prostu parodia sobie, a Tolkien sobie Wielkie dzieki za favka
