Chara attacked.
Asgore wasn't expecting it at all, he didn't even know that the child had a knife with her. A lot of bad memories flew into his mind. He was finally able to dodge only a second before the knife could touch him, he moved to the left and almost fell on the glossy floor.
"C-Chara! What are you doing?!", The young human turned around and attacked again, but her father quickly moved on the other direction, causing her to hit the hard ground. "My child, are you alright?!", Asgore asked, trying to get closer, but Chara quickly got up, heavily breathing. "You shouldn't... you shouldn't worry about me".
Her hair covered her eyes, but she didn't even mind it, her heart was beating extremely fast, her determination was raising every minute, all to follow her only purpose. Chara pushed fight again, willing to choose that button until Asgore would finally react, unwilling to give up at any cost. Why wouldn't he listen? Why wouldn't he fight back? He just kept dodging, and not even one of Chara's attacks were able to hit him. He was fast, and used to it due to years of war. "Chara, please stop! Why don't we talk about it over a nice cup of tea?". The girl didn't listen, she had a goal to reach, and those words meant nothing more than background noise to her.
"My child, drop the knife! Things won't end up good this way!", Asgore was getting tired, Chara could feel it. He was used to battles against humans, but dodging every single strike was way harder and more tiring than fighting back. Chara suddenly stopped, looking at how tired her father was, realizing she was as tired as him. "This is the only way! Don't you see it, dad? Monsters will be trapped for centuries if we don't do something! You know this is the only option", the tiny human said, as her voice was trembling of a vibe that was totally unnatural on her, as determination was consuming all her strength, but in the meantime, it was giving her an uncontrollable energy. Suddenly, she attacked, surprising Asgore who, this time, wasn't able to avoid it. The knife got extremely close to his chest, as Asgore was holding Chara's arm with all the resistance he had left, but Chara was holding on as well, with her hands trembling.
"Chara, listen... You... ", Asgore took a deep breath, his voice was unsettled as well. "You are part of our family, we don't want to lose you...we love you...! So please... please stop doing this".
