Thank you! Yes my customer wanted to make sure they fit snugly, so we decided to incorporate the arm lacing, which would be more accurate on a historical piece anyhow.

very true. I just made a very similar dress for my eldest daughter for halloween adn although we didn't do lacings on the arms, we did it in the back and then we did grommets and ribbons to tie the arm pieces together.
