Description Melancholy Tonks.
In my fanfic at some point she finds herself relating to the boy who could not grow up - that's how she feels. Estranged, all alone, left behind. Unable to rise to the challenges of adult life. She's an Auror, of course, but that simply-is-not-enough.
Tonks is aching to grow up - but cannot.

i like the relation to "No one is going to catch me, lady, and make me a man. I want always to be a little boy and to have fun. (So perhaps he thinks, but it is only his greatest pretend.)" you seem to understand more than most and i appreciate that

Oh wowwwwww I never thought of that line (his greatest pretend, you're damn right!).
Oh thank you so much... I totally love "Peter Pan" and always will. Not just for the cute flying boy or the seductive pirate but because.. it's so well-written and sooooo heartbreaking.

I Know! but sometimes i wish i could be like him you know? just fly away to neverland and forget everyone that i have emotional attachments to, i mean i love them, but there is this other place in my head calling to me and i really want it to be tangible...and i think that must be how JM barrie felt(i love barrie!) but, alas, the world does not allow such things, and it would probably be a terrible idea in the longrun: "There could not have been a lovelier sight; but there was none to see it except a little boy who was staring in at the window. He had ecstasies innumerable that other children can never know; but he was looking through the window at the one joy from which he must be for ever barred."

o.O Brilliant idea indeed. relating the Harry Potter mythos (itself set in the real world) with another story set (and written) there...nice use of color too, very melancholy.

Well it does come handy that both stories are set.. in the UK hahaha!
I had a friend who was a Peter Pan fan and would aaaaaalways say that Harry Potter is lame and so on. Well sure, but I always liked crossovers.
Yeah, melancholy is my second nature. If you read my stories they're never happy, what can I doooo!!

I don't know why! I think you coloured in such a beautiful way. And you really captured the essence of Tonk's dilema.
