Even the backround is not very bright and it's so pleasant. And the tree.. tree is awesome xD

I thought that this piece was very well done. It gives off an emotion of happiness and adventure with the color pallet and shading, the lighter and cooler background makes the warmer and more saturated browns on the cat and tree pop. However some parts are a bit odd like the left front paw being hidden while the back paw is visible, the cat feels too big compared to the tree, and one part of mouth is a bit droopy; however you'd really have to look for these things and it don't take too much away from the drawing. Although the thought of a cat in a tree isn't that original the posing makes it stand out among other cat drawings.

About paw - I'm agree with you. It looks strange. The thing is, when I drew sketch of the whole body - this paw looked natural, but deside the tree it doesn't. Nonsense xD
