Kirik is the employer of September Sparks, feared and often disliked by the nonetheless curious city below him. His museum houses not just rare artifacts, but living creatures taken from every corner of the galaxy. As a scientist, he feels it is his duty to study life, though he can be obsessive about it to the point of fanaticism. Through many years of study, he has acquired some skills that - to the simple of mind, in his view - could be called magical.
