Hawaii is the only state in the US that hasn't reported a Sasquatch siting. Yet. I figure, every working stiff needs a vacation.

No, I certainly don't mind! I'm from Ohio originally, but I've been here for five years, so I've sort of gone native. It's fun here, if a little culturally confused, but very beautiful.

Very amusing to say the very least. I stumbled on the piece whilst looking for tiki pics. I rather like and collect mugs. If I had more money I'd collect prints of them or start commissioning more folks to make pictures of my characters in settings with tikis in them. Imagine a friendly werewolf in Hawaii and you have how I perceive myself in that land of paradise I hope to visit someday.

That's cool, mate, I like the tiki theme as well. I'm doing my apartment up in that style, which is why I'm painting these things. I have two other tiki-style paintings in my gallery, and a few more on the way.
As to Hawaii, I've been living here for three years, and I really like it, even though it's tough to live here. You've got the right idea, visiting -- it's a great place to swing by.

If I thought I could afford to live there I'd pack up and move tomorrow. But right now just a week's vacation is probably all I can afford right now. I'm also a Druid/Neo-Pagan/Witch I have been feeling a call to study the ancient deities as well. Not that I would ever have the arrogance to call myself a kahuna but it would be nice to visit and learn from Pele and the others out there.
