Usually when I can't think of what to draw my hand just automatically draws a generic pretty girl. This girl apparently turned into a sort of nature figure, and I ended up inking and coloring her rather roughly because I finally got Sai and I am learning that it is hella fun even if I'm not good at painting. The picture lacks focus and contrast as well as shading that makes sense (like all my pictures), but hey, it would have been way worse if I had been doing it in Photoshop.Whatevs. I'm doing art, that's what matters.

I'll give you the lack of contrast, but lack of focus? I must disagree; the crisp details, the confidence of the lines, the smoothness of the colors...it speaks of the kind of focus that makes for a lot of your best work, and turns the lack of color contrast into an asset by creating this natural visual flow that's soft and smooth and stunning. <3

I think she's very pretty, for what it's worth. Wish my hand would default to drawing awesome pretty girls when I can't think of what to draw, normally it just draws stick figures or something.
