The other day Lou challenged me to paint one of the photos from my gallery and here it is - my first traditional painting from the photo (I've decided to change the gloomy UK weather to a nice blue sky
) and I guess I can say it is my first traditional painting because apart from couple of tutorials I've done in the past I've never painted anything since.

the wonderful thing about art is that its limits are boundless, I think you did a fantastic job, and I enjoy seeing the photo and the painting! I really like this challenge and would love to see many others trying it out too!

well, the challenge didn't really come from me, but from spider. I said ok, then you said ok.
now the both of you created a painting from your picture. And you're done with amazing results.
And I haven't even started yet!

have a docs appointment (always gotta wait so long there.. argh) and then 2 projects on the go today. So I doubt that today will be the day again.. *sigh*
