This one will go to ~MsBrandybuck as soon as I figure out how to get it to her. It was her birthday a week ago (I didn't forget you, little sis, I am just abominably scatterheaded and failed to give it to you last weekend) and it tries its best to be the present.

Crotcheted octopuses are kind of special to me. I don't crotchet that often, but I really love doing them. So they tend to be happy little creatures I give to people dear to me.

This one is the smallest I've ever done (fits into my palm) and I don't think I'll ever try to make one even smaller, since that would probably murder my eyes. In fact it's so tiny I had serious trouble trying to give it a mouth and finally decided it probably can exist without one.
