where Death reigns,
and kiss your lips

Dandelions bloom from ice
in the wake of your soft footfall.
The air you breathe turns to white clouds,
and starlight shines from your skin.

I want to lay with you
at the end of all things,
to slide through your sweet dreams
of meadows.

To lay with you in a field of dandelions,
surrounded on all sides
by snow.
