Great use of pattern in this! Your handle on color is done well and it keeps the eye moving throughout the composition. I think the only downfall of the pieces is that it flattens are, since color wise it is not rendered with cool and warm temperature colors designated towards one half of the face. Usually shadows are cool and highlights are warm, or vice versa. Looking at some oil paintings to distinguish this may really help to get the volume that would make this a spectacular piece! Β

the colors in this picture are beautiful and bright, as long as sharp to a point! andΒ i find that rather difficult. and withΒ all the different patterns, it really give you something to look at! and i love the way you incorporated different mediums to help pull everything together! it's very inspiring, and i can't wait to see the finished product!
