ft. crappy old concept just so I can make myself feel better about the new designhe's really just a right leafy lad, huh..
unlike sauda, who was just based on fireflies, masamba has approximately one-fuck-million design inspirations, and even an unintentional one that didn't actively inspire the design but it sure looks like it did.
masamba's design is based on leaf bugs, bag worms, leaf sheep sea slugs, and pangolins (which is not to mention the colors that ended up being way more peacock-like than they have any right being, and the zebra elements that were going to be a part of his design no matter what else went on with it). it's just, like.. a lot.
does he even look related to sauda?? does it even really matter
