(Why did the only ink labelled 'red' turn out to be bright pink -why, God, do you mock me?!)Yeah. For a contest. Fun to do...it's only the secong comic-thingy I've ever done, so I could get into doing these.

Dude, really? About the contest, I mean. I felt really bad entering it alone...I'm not happy with the cartoon in places and I don't think it deserved to win anything, I just thoguht it would be fun to have a go.
And yeah, but then Ben IS caricature-y. There are some people it's just genuinely fun to draw, and Ben is one of them. He looks very distinctive, he's got this really long face with such cheekbones and probably the best pout out of all the 'Dolls. I tell you who does look a lot like him, though. Twiggy Ramirez, at least when he was all in makeup, which can look a bit confusing if I scribble two of their cartoon selves next to each other!
Anyway. I'm babbling.

It was more, at the time when I drew it, people were, um, poking fun at me for the 'evil black candy' viewpoint. The phrases 'ARE YOU BLIND/DEAF?' 'UGLY HOWLING LEPRECHAUN' and ' MANKY BLOODY SCREAMING MIDGET' were being used, so I thought this was the general view on him, and it was just my own chronic bad taste in men.
Then I get on here and the nice people at the Cradle of Filth club are having to go and lie in a tubfull of ice cubes everytime they come across a picture of the filthy one, so, um, go figure?
I can still think of many many many other peopel I'd rather have before him at a life drawing class. Naked, I'd say he's more kinda, how do you say, 'cuddly'?
