That's basically how watching Clone Wars is going for me too, except I haven't graduated high school yet.
What do you think about Sadine? I kind of want to ship her and Obiwan except that that ship means Obiwan would have to ignore his dedication to the Order and that is an entirely un-Obiwan thing to do. BUT THEY'RE SO PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER

I actually really like Satine! I didn't expect to, but the more I see of her, I can't find a great reason to dislike her. Her character stands on its own, she is not merely some pawn created for Obi-Wan's manpain or some such. She's smart and clever and sticks to her ideals even if that means shouting at Obi-Wan (which frankly is fun to watch).
Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you want to look at it) because I like her, my brain has already gone into overdrive creating headcanons about her and her relationship with Obi-Wan.
I imagine that Obi-Wan would never actually leave the Order for her, and she wouldn't want him to. She knows that even if he did leave the Order, they would never get the happy ending they wanted. But realistically, I think she is one of the few things in the universe that would make Obi-Wan openly defy the Order, if even temporarily. I can see them having a fling with the understanding that it could never become anything more. They would (would have *weeping*) stayed close friends all their lives, and continued bickering like the married couple they never got to be. I don't think Obi-Wan would manipulate the system into allowing him too many missions to Mandalore, in fact he would probably avoid going to Mandalore because it hurt his heart too much. But whenever Satine had any need of a Jedi escort or diplomat, she would request Obi-Wan by name, not only because she loved him, but also because she valued his diplomatic skill and his (oft irritating) ability to see where she was going wrong. She knows he doesn't like flirting with what he can't have, but she is determined that they remain friends despite the impossibility of their relationship. More than a few members of her court wishes there was a way for Obi-Wan to stay and be with Satine (because they ship it hard) but ultimately leave it to Satine to handle. She never marries, and Obi-Wan fears it's because of him. When he confronts her about the potential hangup, she tells him that while Obi-Wan did give her unnecessarily high expectations for men, he also taught her that she is perfectly capable of ruling her world alone. He was never quite sure how to take this insult/compliment, which can be said of almost all compliments Satine has given Obi-Wan in her life. They make him smile and shake his head simultaneously.
