I never accepted the "present" version of Brittany. In fact, calling her Brittany Miller ignores the fact that the history of the characters has been rebooted and Miss Miller, Dave Seville's neighbor and foster mother of the Chipetttes, never existed in the revised concept.
Marvel was not consistent in the history of SpiderHam, changing his origin twice and turning his girlfriend from a water-buffalo into a crane.

The old Brittany will always be my favorite Brittany...I much prefer the older chipmunks and chipettes. Though I do like the new versions just fine, I think that they've fucked up a lot of the fanbase, and such...I hope that they don't make another new movie, as that would screw things up even more...

I don't think another would work out very well. Most movies don't work out after a third sequel. This isn't the case for all movies, but most. I think the third CGI movie was the best out of all of them, but if they were to make a new one, it could very well suck. But if they DO make a new one, I can tell you for sure that it won't be about them going to the moon, and there will be no Charlene, "Darkmunks", or "Darkettes". Anyone who believes that load of garbage is a moron.

I apologize, it's just I've heard so many stories about ideas for possibly new movies, and they all make no sense, or are completely ridiculous, like the one going to the moon, for example. It's really starting to get on my nerves. I just don't understand why anyone would believe that, at all.

People will believe the craziest things-and sometimes the crazier ones turn out to be true-I would have never believed you could make a cartoon series out of "The Annoying Orange" but there it is on TV!I have friends who have pitched really good ideas to the studios and they are turned down on the spot,yet all sorts of drek makes it in.Go fig!

There is no more Charlene, and no "Darkmunks" or "Darkettes" that is associated with Alvin and the Chipmunks. Charlene was a prototype for The Chipettes, and a prototype only. She will never again make an appearance anywhere.
Also, if they DO make a new movie, it will not be about the Chipmunks and Chipettes going to the moon. That is the most ridiculous idea that I have ever heard, and anyone who believes that load of bull is an idiot.

I agree with you on all of what you said. and I have followed the chipmunks for a very long time. This is not the first time I have heard of the dark monks but where did the idea originate from any idea? The argument between cgi and cartoons monks is just plain ridiculousness. I like both. and as long as they keep their core of who they are, there will always be fans either way. who knows may be they will do a hybrid versions. lol I am joking of course.

Hey, can I get a link to where you saw that they've been "damn" confirmed? I've been looking for info on the next movie for the last year, and everytime I think I find something about the Darkmunks/ettes, I find out it's no an officialy source and they've been made up. In fact, one of the people who said it was Ross Bagdasarian Jr. and Janice Karman, so if you've found something official confirming them, I'd really, really like to see it....
