That's not wrong, but Quetzalcoatl was far more than just god of Intelligence and Death, and he's also not death in the same way as the west's Grim Reaper, that would be more along the lines of his twin Xolotl who guides souls a safe passage through the 9 layers of the land of the dead.
Quetzalcoatl was a cultural hero to the Aztecs, he was the one most notable god that was completley opposed to the practice of human sacrafice and instead promoted the idea altruism. He's associated with the powers of Light, Rainbows, the Day Sky, Wind, Weather, Life, Death, and Resurrection.
As much as I do love Godzilla, can you really kill someone who's just going to be reborn?

I'm probably just that one random guy who's studied Aztec mythology and found this on accident. I'm actually working on making a story based around Aztec mythology and I wanted it to be as authentic to the source as possible to help educate people about a culture lost to time and conquest.
