Box 1 Age 0-5 - Illidis was born to his mother and father, two Servile Slaves. He spent his early childhood helping his mother, or trying to at least, for she did quite a bit of heavy lifting due to her strength from her draft blood. Even so, he enjoyed it, and was a very intelligent and fairly happy colt. He accepted the life of a slave without hesitation, for it was all he had known.

Box 2 Age 5-12 - As Illidis grew older, he started hearing his parents whisper. They wanted to leave Valore and the Aodh completely. Go to another herd and start a new life where they could live free. Illidis himself did not want that. The idea of life without a master was terrifying to him, so he tried to persuade his parents to give up and stay. They did not, and they started planning their escape. As the day of their escape grew closer, Illidis became more frightened. He went to his then current master and told him what would happen. His master did not believe him and sent him on his way. That night, the small family made their escape. They were captured, and the family was separated. Illidis's father was killed, his mother was sold, and Illidis was sold as well.

Box 3 Age 12-18 - Illidis changed hands a few times in his teen years. During this time, he was trained as a pit fighter. He was still curious, although a bit distrustful of other slaves. One of his owners took a great liking to him, calling him beautiful and bedding him many time. This master wanted him to be even more beautiful, so he decided to carve markings into his skin. Illidis, terrified of the procedure, refused, and his master then forced him to go through it, blaming him and calling him bad the entire time. Illidis's free will broke mostly during this time, causing him to keep his head down, eyes averted, and ears back, for he did not want to offend his master again.

Box 4 Age 18-25 (Current Age) - Illidis became a full pitfighter at this age. His scars had healed, leaving unique marks on his skin. He was sold to a new owner, Lord Luciano . Illidis fights fiercely for his master, desperate to gain and keep his favor so he will not be punished or thrown away again.

Box 5 Age 25-29 - Illidis is aging, and his years of fighting have slowly been taking their toll. He still fights occasionally, but not as often and not as hard as he used to fight. He remains with his owner, being a companion, a bodyguard, whatever is asked of him, he does it so he can stay. He is content with this life, feeling reassured he will not be thrown away like some other slaves.

Box 6 Age 50- and up - Illidis, too old to fight, still wishes to remain part of the fighting circuit. Instead of directly fighting, he spends his time training a new generation of pit fighters. The old stallion is still soft-spoken, but he does keep his head higher and no longer keeps his ears back as much, for he is respected as a wise, old, pit fighter who did his duty. Yet, his years of fighting have caused him pain. He has arthritis and other ailments, and his scars ache regularly. Although he hurts, he is happy to teach the younger ones all he knows in hopes they will be able to keep their masters happy.
