I really love the staging and control over details.

 You use a lot of subtle shadows and lights.

 The strongest contrast is the character and background.

 The background helps attract attention towards the characters.

 this picture has many of the obvious qualities that I seek to showcase in my deviantart group.

 This picture is high quality stuff.
