Description

I was not initially going to bring in these such rangers, but after thinking about what I was going to do for Novaranger, and the idea of having a female Aqua Ranger, as well as another male Violet Ranger since most of the Violet Rangers I've had so far had been female, I decided to bring in such rangers after all.

Now, if you think I am showing the series' Sixth Ranger(s) this early on, I'm not. Neither of these guys is the Sixth Ranger. They are additional rangers, just as Ryu Commander and Koguma Skyblue were additional rangers. Of course, there had been some debates over the years after Kyuranger who counted as the Sixth Ranger and whether the other two rangers were additional or auxiliary rangers. Well, before the debates start all over again with Liberanger, I'm going to confirm that these two rangers are additional rangers, the Sixth Ranger has yet to appear. As always, when the Sixth Ranger of the current Sentai series (Which as I am writing this is not known as I am writing this in 2023), I'll bring out the image of the actual Sixth Ranger. And by Sixth Ranger, I mean the ranger who counts as the Sixth Ranger. Not the ranger who actually appears sixth.

So in this case, the ranger who will count as the Sixth Ranger in this series will be the Twelfth.

Similar to the existing Liberangers whose suits are based on a past mainstream series, Violet and Aqua have suits based on a side-series team. Libre Violet represents the TUFFRangers and Aqua represents the Comicgers.

Notes:

1. Libre Violet is the second male Violet Ranger in a mainstream series after Ace Foxtrotter in Traffic Squadron: Roadranger.

2. Libre Aqua is the first female Aqua Ranger in a mainstream series to appear regularly instead of appearing only in the Returns Special. She is also the first Aqua Ranger overall to appear regularly since Canis Lupis in Woodland Squadron: Foresger.

3. Originally, I was going to bring these two out after the Sixth Ranger was unveiled, but I decided to have them appear before the Sixth Ranger. They'll also appear before the Sixth Ranger in the story.

4. I made a poll asking people if any additional rangers should be unveiled later or at the same time as the main team. Since most people had voted that the additional rangers should be unveiled as soon as the main team, I've went ahead and unveiled them at this point in time at the end of the week after the main rangers have been unveiled.

5. In contrast to the main rangers, their secondary colors are light gold and light silver respectfully. I had chosen not to have them be in the same shades of gold and silver as the actual Gold and Silver-colored rangers. I wasn't sure about what secondary color to use for each when I had decided on changing their suits from their initial appearance to the finalized design.

6. They are the first additions to the core team in the Super Animal Squadron series in a mainstream series. Not counting Gamerman, Saurusger, and Draconightger which all had just two or three main rangers in the first chapter and again in Liberanger where Chapter 1 will only feature five of the nine main rangers.
