Thanks for your comment.    In my eyes, the petals look luxuriously comfortable to sleep on -- if they grew in great big 3 meter lengths I would make a nice bed with them each night.

This plant does sting! The flowers smell good and the seeds are edible.

These plants are also very hard to kill.  If they were not so dangerous they would be nice garden plants.

Have you seen the other species that is less hairy?

I can't say for certain, but if I see hairs I tend to avoid.
