Description
Of all the kingdoms in Remnant, Atlas is the most recent, having formed from Atlas Academy in the now-defunct kingdom of Mantle. These days, the school, government, and military are one, and until the past few years the civilian government, including the Atlas council, had virtually no power. This changed with Councilwoman Dawn Lumina's election. Through clever maneuvering, she has restored a small fraction of the council's former power, enough to challenge General Ironwood. This move has not gone unnoticed by Atlas, who see the council's growing power as a threat to Atlas's position. As such, there is a fierce political rivalry between Lady Lumina and General Ironwood, a conflict that some fear may spiral into civil war.
