ONE HUNDRETH DEVIATION!!! Well, if you combine galleries, 177th, but STILL! And what a deviation it is!Mostly done out of colored pens for school and highlighter, but on the blanks of wood I didn't want the same brown I used on Chad and I was home so colored sharpie.
So, these are Chad (or Sado) and Nova from Bleach, an awesome anime. ^-^ I love them in firey explosion. Chad proably caused it defending Nova because he's sweet like that, who knows.

Great coloring technique, especially how you colored his skin, with the rich color and reflection of the flames!

His skin was a challange! Blue and orange pens and highlighters. ^-^ Blue+orange = brown. I'm just lucky the guy is half Mexican or I wouldn't know what to do.
LOL! The flames reflection? Dude, I had planned out the background sketch and then started coloring Chad. Half way through I realized I had placed the flames on the opposite side I was having the light colling from on Chad so I had to completely switch it! Glad it still worked. ^-^

Blue and Orange are complementary colors, too, so it really helped make the color more vivid, also! ^^

Complementary colors when mixed actually dulls the colors (when side by side they get vivid) which just goes to show you how freaking vivid these colors were orignially. I love highlighters. ^-^

You've met an art student whose art history class just recently went over Seurat's La Grand Jatte and color theory XD The orange looks very vivid and shiny in Chad's skin, though <3
