Description A fun little picture set that I decided to draw. This was great fun to do! I love playing around with the different colours and composition. I've learned a heap from just doing these four that I can definitely use for next time!

Comments and critiques are much appreciated

REALLY cool. Very atmospheric. These would make amazing big paintings . The composition and the contrast of colours etc.etc - really really cool!

This is just spectacular. Was there any specific story behind this? I love the colors and the variety. Definitely an eerie sort of feeling, with that sci-fi awesomeness.

Oh thank you! I do have a story for each of the pictures actually; the top left one is a sort of naturally occuring boat launching area where people would come in from fishing/ exploring other areas of the ocean or island.

The top right is just of a little sandy shore, and I imagine it would be very, very hot there and the birds would be colourful and EXTREMELY noisy and a little bit irratating haha.

The bottom left one is a of a teenage guy who has crash landed (be it via plane/ space ship/ washed up from a boat wreckage etc) and he is just seeing the vastness of the land that he has to overcome ahead of him and he feels like an outsider to this jungley world.

And the bottom right is of a place that has fallen into disrepair. It used to be a planet that people could inhabit but through certian circumstances it has become toxic to live in hence why there are no people there and the buildings are all ruined. And the glowing tower thing is a natural source of power (runs off the toxic gas) which is still active and providing power to buildings that now have no people.

Sorry for the text block xD These just sort of form when I'm drawing so none of the ideas are particularly solid but it's still a lot of fun to think about (well for me at least!)

I know exactly what you mean! That's really awesome and don't be sorry about the text block lol. Those are really neat and they have a lot of potential for a full story. Or even a short story . . . I love your ideas.
