ok.. here goes.. my first crit for you..
first off i think captain america looks fantastic.. out of the whole lot, with your coloring technique, you paid extra attention to him, from the look of it, because it doesnt look blurred in color.
however [grit your teeth for this bit ] overall, you've used pretty plain colors, and haven't experimented with other colors, which if they really were all that shiney, should have had other colors reflecting off them from each other..
if you held a shiney object - colored or no - to another differently colored object, it would do 1 of two things..
1. reflect the color from the other object onto it
2. reflect the actual other object onto it [because of the reflective surface of their clothing, in this instance]
so in theory, you're missing a vital thing, and that is reflection. but yeah i know you're new to this, so i'm trying to just put this in perspective [ie: DONT DO THIS PIC AGAIN lol.. you've done it once, and thats great.. just remember these rules for the next one]
how you create the lighting on their clothing - whether dull or shiney - will give a whole new level to your work.
also, try not to use such bright strong colors. if they were realistic [keeping in mind that i know you were going for the comic-y feel to this pic] then the colors would be more bland, so to speak.. such as more greyish colors, or duller colors.. when you see someone with brown hair, you dont just use flat brown and then go up the spectrum [or down] with flat browns.. you use different tones, or sometimes add different colors, to create new effects..
ok ok.. i'll stop there.. hehe.. if you want to hear more, let me know, and i'll continue.. [on to the next pic for some crit.. i hope this one helped you understand a bit more..]
