Vision: Spot on. I have not played much into Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep but I would say you captured Aqua fairly accurately. Well done.
Originality: I'm not sure how frequent Kingdom Hearts artwork is done so since I haven't search or had many Aqua art come up for me this plays into its originality. Additionally playing into it being original is the energy from the artist and the medium used with the style makes it feel original as it is for that artist with his/her style. Well done.
Technique: The strokes are nicely done and feel to have a good flow going with them. The colors are accurate from what I can recall for her outfit and has wonderful shading adding depth to the piece. Her body also nice shading and highlighting to her body and face. I like the background is very nice and very fitting with her name and energy. I love how the white and blue are mixed so well to not feel like one is over doing the other and isn't taking away from Aqua.
Her hair is well done and the way it is moving feels wonderful with clean lines and smooth movement between the lighter shades and darker shades of blue giving her hair a nice layered feeling. Aqua's eyes are nicely done with the emotion in them I like that. The mix again of light and dark blues is nice and some reason her right eye, from the viewer looking at the screen, seems a tiny bit off for some reason but I'm unsure why. Her nose and lips/mouth are also nicely done. Great shading and highlighting. Perhaps as a suggestion to help improve...I would actually like to see some background that tells the viewer where she is at if it is out at sea or in a lake/pond, or somewhere else as I'm curious but that's minor and if it would ruin the piece never mind.
Impact: It brought a smile to my face as it is very well done and I would say captures Aqua very nicely. The background is lovely though I'd enjoy to see something, if it wouldn't ruin it, that tells if she's out in about open waters or not open and void of life. Another thing I noticed and is fine would be her armpit looks to be bleeding with the lines falling down has me confused. But nice piece.
Overall: I think this fits Aqua nicely but my suggestions would be to add if it wouldn't distract or take away from the picture would be a bit of some land or something to the background so it's more clear she isn't out in open water unless she is meant to be in open water then never mind. Other suggestion would be perhaps for her arm where looks to be blood I am curious to how that came about or if it were a painting mistake where the peach coloring just did not stay peach colored and became red like she was bleeding. I enjoy this piece as it captures Aqua's energy and appearance very well. Lovely work.
