I went to the zoo today to practice drawing large cats. The tiger was the first cat I found. He spent most of his time pacing around, so I left to see what the other cats were up to. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any lions, leopards, or cheetah. A lot of the zoo was under construction so I figured their exhibits were closed. Then again, this was my first trip to the LA Zoo so I simply could have missed them. >_<Anyway, I did the lion skull as practice before heading out to the zoo.

Awesome sketches. It's amazing how you make something look so cool and 3dimensional with just a few lines. And the scull rocks! Really really cool details.
