It's beatuful when done for art, seen as opression when done for belief. not digging on you just spewing thoughts. You are a beatiful lady and this only highlight you as a jewl... see man greatest atraction is woman, and he has a natural desire for the lure of a woman (how many women are sexualy assaulted). To cover up protects the woman from the lustful eyes of men, the envious eyes of women, and you become like a present for your man. Even though we are indeviduals we are enterlinked as human, and it's what best for all not just me. Love and Salam (Peace).

I never did this out of religious interpretations or to make some kind of statement. I honestly just liked how the scarf highlights my eyes.
I agree that modesty is important and a woman's body is a special gift. I don't necessarily agree with the degree to which certain countries take it by covering their women up completely, but we are all free to choose what we think about things like that.

Most of what we do reflect in the eyes of others diffrently than the way we shine it. Rosa Parks was just tired when she sat down on that segragated bus that sparked a civil rights movement (I wish I had more common example but I don't). Do I think it will be a movement behind it no, but it is a gorgious picture and oppertunity to discuss the concept of modesty and how beautiful it is. Yes.
Now I do agree with you how other countries take it to another level with having women draped. Now my way of life (Islam) teachs that the middle path is to be soat (did I spell that right) with knowledge. But man will be man (mankind), take for instant the traffic laws, now how many does 55 when it says 55... I know I'm pushing the peddle and I got a couple other catts that's ahead me and tailing me. We have clear knowledge of what we are suppose to do but are doing so.
Yeah, the greatest power or distruction is choice. Because most of us chooses for "self", and look about our world and see the remnents of the choices we've made. But there are also those who look beyound there selves and see something far greater... something worth saving something worth fighting for. These are the ones who choose to toil for the greater good and it is what's makes them Beautiful. Salam (peace) and Love.

This photo is absolutely gorgeous! I've looked through your gallery; you capture eyes amazingly! There is so much emotion in the photgraph, your eyes just express it all! The lighting is also very great. The colours are dark, but the lighting is very light and brings out all the highlights very well. Very well done!
