Description
Mesidae is a powerful carnivorous mammal but it chooses to scavange instead of hunt. They have an excellent sense of smell and thermal vision(only when hunting). Their eyesight is very weak and their vision is blurry however if someting is 2 meters away from it, it can see fine. Their bite force is so powerful that it can break bones with low effort. Not only their bite is powerful, their limbs are too. If they hunt they will either bite or straight up hit the prey with their own bodies. Like pushing them. They are a bit aggressive towards carnivores but doesn't cares if they're around herbivores, but they're not aggressive towards their own kind. They have a slower metabolism than other carnivores so it chooses to lazy around eating corpses or bones or stay in groups sleeping on eachother. A mesidae group is called a pride. Usually having 5-10 members but many mesidaes tend to be loners or stay with their partner. The mesidae coloration is dark and the lighter ones are uncommon to see.
