One of your best, Anne! Once again, you bring a strong narrative with the theme from the Snow Queen book. The elements all work wonderfully together. We've talked about the snow on the railing and below it, and without a tablet to give you more precise control of the edges, I think you've done the best you can with a mouse. Beefing up the opacity on the shell image that is integrated into the background on the left side has made a definite impression and added a point of interest that clearly fits in with the narrative. However, I do find my eye drawn to that side of the image more frequently. You might wish to play around with the opacity level a little more. I hope other people will offer their opinions to the discussion. Maybe darkening the buildings that loom in the background behind her will offset the effect somewhat. The palette is spot on. Your choice of stock images continues to impress me e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> .

A favorite book of mine too! I have a board on Pinterest to illustrate it. It's called "Snow Queen/Summer Queen"
