I have a new interest: aviation. I don't know why but I love looking out of my window to watch a really low aircraft fly by. I think I might be a commercial pilot when I'm older.Related content

yep. i couldn't fit the rest of the wings on, but it had no winglets on the wingtips like the newer 747 variants have.

Ah, no worries, many of my pictures I find out too late that I've started too big. And yup, as far as I know the 747's -100 thru -300 have no winglets, only the 747-400's.

geez, i am SOOOOOOOOOO sorry it took so long to reply! i'll say it's just line art right now and as soon as i get my scanner working i might upload that too. the photo i copied from was an etihad airlines one i'll have too draw the livery on and all that but it looks pretty good.

no problem! Eithad is growing pretty quickly from what ive heard, they are a large airbus operator (theyve even got orders for A380s) but i think operate lots of boeings too (777s, 787s on order i think). i guess a large operator of wide bodies in general

wide bodies=more people=MORE MONEY!i guess narrowbodied aircraft are rarer now. the only narrowbodies in service that i'm aware of are 757s and 737s. saying that though, apparently a 737 lands or takes off every five seconds...
