This piece was very relaxing and restoring to draw; I really enjoyed the shading and blending and use of color on this. This is the prize for ~Throughgrace , the first place winner of the Intermediare I class in my BlackBody Radiation dressage show this summer. When ~Throughgrace said I could choose any of her horses to draw for her prize, I just had to pick Clyastre! I love this big girl for a few good reasons; Throughgrace bought her from the Gypsy Vanner Auction I held last year, I love her color, and Throughgrace requested a breeding between Clyastre and my Friesian stallian Valliancourt, the result of which is irresistible. I also loved the pose for this, and didn't change it at all like I usually do. I think they fit!
