It's improved a lot in the past months, but I think that now I'm gonna fall back into one of those periods of time where there's barely any improvement. Maybe refine my shading technique a little more, but that's it. Hopefully I can finally get my anatomy to work all the time!

Part of that's still thanks to you, your art inspired me to add this type of lighting to it, and I have noticed that with it, my art looks double as good as before. I also really like the part I received, that user has a nice style that works well for Gar.

I was shocked when I started adding a little line of lighter color to accent certain parts of an image at how much it made it pop; it's a great way to make something pop fast! I know, right? I've turned on and off my lighting layer, and while there's barely any visual difference, the entire piece just looks so completely different. In a good way. It's magical and I wish I had discovered it sooner. Right now it still looks sloppy, but I'm sure that I'll eventually make my own thing out of it.
