Character Profile below.. It's rather long because I had enjoyed detailing everything about her. >.> I hope you have the patience to read, I think she's rather interesting.

Background:
Absynthe was abandoned in a church when she was a baby. Her mother, hysterical and screaming that the baby was of the devil, had left the one month old girl with the nuns believing that they will get rid of “that abomination”. The nuns however took pity on the child and raised her themselves. Absynthe grew up as normal as any other girl who grew up in a church would. She was brought up strictly to the church’s teachings and she questioned none of them. The only thing odd about the little girl was when she was faced with a difficult situation like the time when she broke one the antique vases. Her eyes became sharp and her personality abruptly changed. The shy, sweet tempered girl suddenly became mean and vicious, lashing at everyone who comes near her. After being subdued, the girl remembered none of what happened. The nuns believed it was the work of the devil and so kept the girl within the confinements of the church, never letting her see the outside world. They believed it was for her own protection as much as the others. And so Absynthe lived a quiet and peaceful life far from the influence of other people.

She was about six when she saw another person besides the nuns and the priest. A deranged man had somehow broke into the church and found his way into the nun’s living quarters. He was shouting things about how the church had lied and kept the truth hidden from people. He said something about a veil and laughed hysterically, all the while destroying everything within reach. When the nuns tried to stop him, he killed them off one by one. It was then that he spotted little Absynthe cowering in a corner. At the sight of her he shouted “You!” and then clasped his head shrieking. When he finally stopped there was a menacing grin on his face as he slowly chanted something the girl could hardly hear. He cut himself and used his own blood to draw a runic symbol on the floor. After he finished there was a few seconds of silence until the man fell on the floor, dead. A long high pitched shriek was heard and then a palpable silence reigned the night. The next morning Absynthe was seen wandering in the streets where she was found by a wealthy but childless couple who took her in and raised her as their own.

Physical Attributes:
Absynthe stands 5 ft. tall and weighs 90 lbs. She has dark skin complexion, white hair and silver eyes. She let’s her hair grow up to her ankles and dyes the lower half pink. She had a yin yang inspired tattoo shaped like wings done on her lower back when she turned 18, much to the dismay of her parents (the tattoo idea came from her most trusted friend Fidelis). She also has a pair of feathery wings on her back, the left one black and the right one white. These wings are only visible to people who are “awake”. She doesn’t stick to any fashion style and prefers to wear whatever she feels comfortable in or what fits her mood at that moment.
When Lleh overshadows her, the wings on her back both become black and her eyes turn red while the wings turn white and her eyes turn blue when it’s Nevaeh who takes control. These changes are not visible to a normal human.

Personality:
Absynthe is a shy and sweet tempered girl. She usually just keeps to herself and prefers books to companionship of other people. When she does get to know people though, she easily becomes attached and she slowly loosens up around them. She’s caring and thoughtful but she has a problem approaching other people and making friends. Her detachment from others had stemmed from the fact that she was raised by nuns and didn’t see a lot of people a good part of her early childhood. When she was adopted, she lived a sheltered life with her loving but very protective parents. She also had a traumatic experience leading her to be scared of getting too close to other people, fearing that if they knew her secret they would turn her away or hurt her. She’s also very dependent on some people namely her parents and her best (and probably only real) friend Fidelis. When overshadowed, she takes the personality of whoever is in control, be it Lleh or Nevaeh. Although she is careful not to get overshadowed in company of others, there were a few instances where things got out of control. Her parents thought she had multiple personality disorder coz of her shifting “moods”. Some of the more superstitious people said she was being possessed by demons.

Awakening and energy manipulation:
Absynthe was forced awakened when she was six years old. Although normally, force awakening can lead to a person’s insanity or leave him or her incapacitated, an import had saved her and broke the shock. Since then she was able to see otherworldly beings and travel to “the dreaming” through sleep or meditation. She learned more about the veil and it’s history from Nevaeh but it was from another hybrid and full fledged mage named Fidelis did she learn how to manipulate energy, to shield herself, ward and fight Outsiders (mainly shadows) and other mages, and the existence of ever growing holes on the weakening fibers of the veil. It was also from her that she learned of the two factions of mages that are fighting. She is still a beginner in manipulating energy.

Imports In-depth Information:

Background: She is the first import of Absynthe. She is an angel of darkness and a herald of the Shadows. She was sent into the human world to help bring about the destruction of the veil. As a sodalis, she was born with her host and she automatically shares one soul with her. Despite this, Absynthe was not aware of her until she was six when a mad man had forced awaken her. She manifests every time Absynthe is having a hard time coping up and shuts herself down and had sole control of her up until she was six. After Absythe was “awakened”, Lleh was able to talk to her in her mind. She’s always in constant argument with Navaeh, the other import and resents having to share her host. She’s also frustrated that she’s failing on her mission because Absynthe does not want the veil to fall and therefore try to take control of Absynthe as much as possible.

Physical attributes: Being an import, she can only be physically seen in “the dreaming”. Her height and weight are unknown although she appears to be a woman in her mid twenties. She has black leathery wings, long black hair and blood red eyes. Her skin is pale as ivory, not even a blush touches her cheeks and lips. She is cloaked in swirling black shadows that seems to move on their own accord.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Personality: As expected of the angel of darkness, Lleh is cruel and sadistic. She takes delight in the suffering of others and will not pass any chance of inflicting pain. She will not do anything that would not benefit her. Despite this, she can be alluring and charming when she needs to be to achieve her ends. She often nags Absynthe about her being good and a lot of times tries to take control of her host without permission. She treats her host more like a slave or a toy than a person. She also enjoys making her feel miserable inside. She hates Navaeh and swores that if it’s possible she’d somehow kill her someday.

2. Nevaeh (palindrome of heaven)

Background: Navaeh is only a construct of Absynthe, meaning she did not originally have this import. At the age of six, when Absynthe was force awakened she began seeing things that she normally didn’t see. Where there were only dead bodies of nuns and a madman lay, countless shadows and demons danced in the flickering light of the candles, attracted by the smell of blood and the stench of fear that filled the room. The young mind of the child couldn’t take it and she lost consciousness. She somehow found herself in a strange place: a field of wild flowers she had never seen before bathed in white light. Alone and scared she began crying until she felt a warm touch on her arm. When she looked up, a beautiful child with white wings was smiling sweetly at her. The angel told the child that her name was Navaeh, she was a messenger of the gods and that they were in the dreaming. She asked why she was crying. Absynthe told her what had happened and the angel took her in her arms and said she’ll always protect her. Since that day that Absynthe unwittingly created a construct, Nevaeh had always been with her, a guardian, a protector and a friend.

Physical Attributes: Navaeh looks like a 10 year old child with long golden locks and bright blue eyes. Her skin is fair and rosy, although it seems unnaturally light and “glowing”. She has three pairs of small silvery wings and is clad in a simple white dress, tied in the waist with a golden white bow. She always appears to be smiling. Alignment: Lawful Good

Personality: One word: Childlike. She is innocent, bubbly, free-spirited and friendly. She cares a lot for others, even Lleh and especially Absynthe. Her helpful and loving nature rubbed on Absynthe. Through her help, Absynthe avoided becoming insane from the shock of her force awakening. She is sweet and helpful that’s why Lleh hated her so much. Despite being child-like, she is very wise and often gives Absynthe sound advice. It is also easier to get information from her than Lleh. She also has more patience and tolerance. Although she doesn’t like taking over Absynthe’s body, she sometimes as no choice if she was to prevent Lleh from doing it.
