Since the short cartoon Villainous came, one character caught my interest immediately when I saw this show. Dr. Flug, a scientist working for Black Hat, tolerating Dementia(i guess), and having 5.05 by his side as he creates deadly inventions by his boss's orders. A lot of fans made comics and such on guesses why Dr. Flug works for such a horrific demon, saying he "chose to"(something like that). However, were there any other guesses that say otherwise? With so many theories on so many characters, i decided to make my own. What if Dr. Flug was never suited for evil at all? How did all of this start? My guess is going to be a bit of a story so here we go.

Since Dr. Flug is a genius in science, my guess is he was probably born as one. From the day he was born, science was his calling, the passion in his blood. From childhood to adulthood, he must have worked hard to feed his gifted fire, making scientific formulas and inventions he would one day show the world. With all that hard work, he probably experienced a lot of solitude, but hoped that with his genius, that would change. Little did he know, a certain demon would show up and crush his dreams for evil. That day was when Dr. Flug was finally ready to show how incredible his genius is. From there, the demon stepped in, disguised and ready to set his trap of deception. The demon lured in the man of science with words of how with his "help", Dr. Flug's hopes and dreams would be fulfilled in bigger ways than he could possibly imagine. Falling for the bait of false hope, he took the demon's deal and the true colors were revealed. Through demonic victory on catching and possibly branding his new slave of science, Black Hat has been using him to increase the unholy forces of evil. I bet he knew if Dr. Flug worked for heroes, no evil would stand a chance against good becoming stronger. Despite that, the demon won, and now, ashamed for falling for a demon's trap, Dr. Flug hides behind the paper bag mask he wears today.

Another theory within this one involves the cuddly blue bear mentioned earlier but I'll make it short. 5.05 was labeled as a "failed" experiment but my guess is that Dr. Flug secretly intended to squeeze a bit of light in his dark slave life, especially since his name looks like "S.O.S" spelled in numbers; using science to make an angel in the form of the big blue bear we all want to cuddle. That could be proof that Dr. Flug is trying to hold on to what's left of his sanity, hoping for a way out one day before he completely falls apart. To recap, this is my theory on Dr. Flug based on the possible hints from his nervousness and 5.05 being sweet by his side. This is quite a big guess, don't you think? How long do you think he'll stay strong against the insane pressure he goes through? If anyone made any comics or stories on Dr. Flug standing up against Black Hat or he and his furry sidekick escaping successfully, I would love to read them some time. I hope this theory was interesting enough to be entertaining. Be careful out there and avoid any traps made by demons.
