Inspired by Geek& Sundry's Twitch show "Critical Role", and the amazing descriptions by the show's Dungeon Master, Matthew Mercer (explicitly the "flickers of arcane energy")... who should be known as "Merciless Matt"
I want to thank my friend RhexFiremind who helped me by rendering a beautiful d20 for me to use as reference, since I changed my mind about a matte die, and wanted to make one that was see-through (and I don't have see-through dice

There are TONS of awesome Critical Role fanart. I love Iridium Deposit's designs and Andrew Scot's style, as well as Wendy Sullivan Green's epic skill to capture emotions and expression's, and of course Joma Cueto's outstanding illustrations and funny doodles... there are too many and they're all so good. I can't remember everyone's name, but I love the range of styles we can watch in all of these fanart pieces

I can't stop looking at this. I especially like the detail in the die. You probably noticed already, but Matthew featured this as his facebook profile picture.

Woohoo!! I'm glad someone noticed the die XD! I came up with an alchemic symbol for each face, even thought this picture would only show a few. The die alone is what took the most time, I had been practicing photo studies very often before, so Matthew's face didn't even took as long as the damn die D:<
I had the chance to meet the Critical Role cast during Comic-Con, and gave them a printed version of this, then two weeks later, I was actually there during the first part of the 17th Episode (Hubris), and I was a nervous wreck.
I can't even state how glad I am by the reception this picture has had T__T. Thank you!
