This is a really cute, simple piece! The pose is nice- there is a good sense of rhythm and flow, especially with the tail. I do love the way the fur is drawn- the shape of the brush strokes gives the fox a Disney-like look. I'd suggest playing around with line weight and brush sizes- for example, the fur inside the ears and even on the tail would look even better with the use of a smaller brush for more detail.Β The color palette of the fox also has a good sense of contrast. The red and the orange tones work well together. The simplistic shading works well too. The viewer can also easily tell that the light source is most likely facing the fox directly. Β I would suggest making the brown a little lighter next time since it blends a little with the black on the outline so it looks like the two feet are conjoined together and it's a bit hard to see the paws. Play around more with the backgrounds, by the way- try blending paints together to see what you can come up with. Awesome job overall!Β
