Sticks and stones may break my bones,But only words can kill me,
If you said you loved me not
No words could cure me.
If you said you hate me so,
And only I must leave you,
I would say strike me down,
For I can only see you.
If you hit and struck me down,
I could keep on walking,
If you decided to go away,
I would keep on following.

If you said you hated me not,
No words could harm me.
If you said you love me so,
And only I can have you,
I would say hold me now,
For I can only take you.
If you took and held me now,
I could keep on walking,
Even if you went away,
I would keep on following.
