the sounds and feel of life withers and
falls away
and life begins to shed
its old skin forming a new layer where things are pleasantly backwards and new...or new and backwards (because you have a period on both "new" and backwards" so I wasn't sure)
I've been upside down for so long that down feels like up to me.
