How long has it been again since I uploaded anything here? Two years? :'D Anyway. This was done for an animation I'm doing with ~Porkkish and three other persons.Although Inari foxes are usually pure white, I wanted it to have some colour. Dark markings on a light coat =

It should work now. I deleted the tumblr post because I wanted to add a background and didn't want to have three versions of the same drawing in separate posts.. But it up again.

Aah, this is a beautiful fellow. *w* I agree with your choice to add black, it really makes the character pop and gives them more ~style~! I especially like the fur in the collar and cheek! Perhaps the neck could be a tad bit thicker where it joins the lower jaw, but I guess that's also a matter of stylizing.
Anyway, great to see you're posting drawings here again!

Thanks! I'm glad that the black works in your opinion, I was a bit worried that it might be too much. :3 I think the head and neck are the parts I worked most on.. Maybe it shows. And I agree with you, it could be a bit thicker. I checked the sketch, it was thicker in that.. But if I remember correclty I thought that it clashed with the fur on the cheek a bit at the time. I guess I didn't bother to make it thicker later.. But it's not very realistic to begin with proportion wise, so I can always "justify" it with that. :-------D
