Sorry for the delayed response. Thank you so much for asking! Could you clarify a bit more on what you mean by a "color study". I have a general idea of the term, but it seems as if a color study can be down in one of multiple ways.

Thank you so much for the kind comment!  The best of luck to you on your photography! The first thing I starting taking pictures of was flowers on my old Pentax point and shoot. It's amazing how much you can do with a point and shoot camera alone. I quite like you're photo "Classic White". The consistency of the background, along with it's contrast to the white geranium, are the elements that really make this image stand out to me. I've worked with a lot of geraniums and they are not the easiest flower to take a good picture of. Well done!

Thank you! My family has a whole stash of different tea cups. This one is a Bone China Royal Crown Derby St. James A1145. I read that the pattern dates to the late 1960s. It's one of the few I can successfully find online lol. I hope that helps.

Thank you. My sister absolutely loves tea cups and she was blown away by that one. She's never seen a raised pattern on a tea cup before. The picture itself was also beautifully done, you have a good eye. We'd love to see more of them

The pattern is quite unique. It's probably one of my favourites.   Thank you! I will definitely be using some of the other tea cups we have in pieces to come.   Great name by the way, Spirited Away is amazing, my sister loves the movie!

I know, such a great film! Studio Ghibli does such great work. If you haven't seen them I highly recommend Howl's moving castle, The cat returns and Arrietty. They are equal masterpieces

Glad to hear we'll be seeing more teacups. My sister loves them and has just started collecting her own. She has a Royal Albert, Regal pattern, Montrose shape in pastel blue.

I've never seen Arrietty, perhaps I'll give that one a try. My family and I quite enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle and The Cat Returns. We actually have a Royal Albert, Regal pattern, Montrose shape in white and gold. It's is a beautiful style to begin a collection with.
