Floating through our lives, the cycles of highs and lows, we reach for those closest to us but they feel familiar yet at the same time alien. We struggle with the duality, feeling lost and all alone... but surrounded... uncanny!

We know, but we don’t, and are puzzled as though there is a riddle we need to solve. Some intangible reason and solution we need to find and desire to hold. But our hearts at times, full and overflowing, can empty without warning, without our control... and we wish to understand, to be strong enough to stand, not be swept in and out with the tide at the mercy of shifting sands.

We want to know our part within the universe’s grand plan, but right now it hurts too much, and it seems too hard, so we just float... in nowhere-land. Viewing our experiences, detached, and wishing, hoping, praying for a different reality, and something or someone to believe in.
