Artist Statement: In the search for the truth of who I am and where I was to express my creative self, I connected with the School of Light & Color. Color and the mysteries that surround it have, as long as I can remember, fascinated me. Color exists all around us but very few people have more than a cursory relationship with it. I knew that color was in my heart and soul but didn't know how to reach the depths of my relationship with it until I discovered oil painting. BY searching the nakedness of "what is" in its simplicity and astounding beauty, I found my path and my truth. Color is my lover and I hope to spend the rest of my days learning its secrets and introducing the world to its wonders.
