Shipping is like supporting a pairing of characters. So if you think that Ron and Hermione are meant to be together, then you ship them.
In this case, if you think that Sev and Lily had something when they were at school together, then you would ship them.

I have always thought that Harry and Hermoine looked cute together, but everyone keeps pinning her with Ron for some reason And I can't think of any others...As much as I enjoyed the books and movies, I don't know who I'd ship with whom
