To finish off the Apple family I thought I would throw out Granny Smith in her younger years. I was wondering what a pretty young filly with the name \'Granny Smith\' went by and as I finished it off I decided she went by Annie.
She always struck me as a bit of a rascal and a gal with a temper. Hair color was inspired by [link]
It was just too pretty of a color. I tried to give her an old fashioned hair style that still reflected her current do.

I wonder if it was weird for her when she was a kid... since she was named Granny Smith. Why haven't you made more of the stuff with the families you made for them? It's just another alternate universe (but unlike several of the others, this is a really clever and really well made alternate universe).

Honestly I got burnt out on drawing. I lost interest and stuck with customs for a while. Starting to get back into it, so maybe you'll see more. Thanks though ^.^

I don't think she was called "Granny" when she was younger. Her name might've been more typical and then when she became a grandmother, she became "Granny Smith"
that's my idea anyway. I highly doubt a child would've been named "Granny"

Great work, I love Granny Smith and I can easily imagine her looking like this in her youth. (: The hair colour is lovely and you're right, she must have been one with a temper! Plus I love the name Annie; Annie Smith sounds pretty and I love that it rhymes with 'granny'. ^^
