Description
This piece is a plate for my Anatomical art class for Prof. de la Cruz at the TUP-manila, This is a traditional mixed media (mainly oil paint ^^) work with an actual model (the two girls is actually just one). Painted in my sophomore years of 2005.

Explanation:

The Girl of the darker shade of blue: The work features a blue skinned half naked girl (she just wear a pair of jeans) with a traditional hand woven bag sitting on the floor. She looks way above head the viewer. She may seem to smile. She hopes always for the better.

The pale blue Girl: She is the moving one. She fades away, almost ethereal. Although she’s the real one (I mean that the darker girl is the memory of the viewer, the real girl has just went away)

The lyrics floating on the background is from a local Alt band's song of the same title, the words of the song floats, hovers to the one who views it, he sees the girl walking away in his physical eye but her almost smiling image leaves a resonant image on his mind's eye.

The Story: The girl breaks up with a boy (the supposed viewer) she leaves & unintentionally (or is it intended?) that she also leaves an image of her once happy face, of her presence, of her, his love.
