This dragon character came up some years ago. I've found his old sketch and I've decided to draw this newer version. He hasn't got a name yet: how could I call him?

Very nice, I like how you made the shoulders. It makes him look full of pride and afraid of nothing. You did a wonderful job in mixing the two creatures together and then drawing them out. As for a name - My vote is for "Ruhm", it's German for "Glory".

I like the lion dragon idea, but Lions tend to be more buff and meaty. his rear( that ass bone i forget the name and the ribs) looks like a lion that hasn't ate in ages. --But perhaps that's from the dragons side of the family. Anyways, you know what you're doin, I can talk some crap once in a while, and I hope its appreciated.
I love the structure of the head, the eyebrow ridge thingys too. they're big. Just the way I like'em I love the stance. definetely looks liony. And the wings are killer. I would o thought you had a bat or something* laying next to you for reference----Nice job.

Not sure about naming, but he sure turned out quite well. You did a great job at combining that serpentine dragon look with the mammal of a lion. ^_^
