hello all, I was DYING to get this up here! omg I was going to do it last night, but was tooooooo tired, and then today we went to Venice (beach, not italy ) so I couldnt do it until noooooooww!!! okay, but here we go

This is a dragon's eye in extreme detail (duh) but if you look closer to the eye itself you can see the reflection of what it is flying over! A burning kingdom- castle and surrounding village in all.

I haven't exactly decided the story, its for you all to imagine, but I'm pretty sure the dragon is a he. I wanted his eye to be open slightly wider than what it would normally be, sort of in surprise, or shock, but otherwise it is emotionless. Is this because the kingdom was corrupt? Did he set it on fire? I don't know, why dont you all write your ideas in the comments? I'd like to hear your ideas.

I wanted the eye to be very clear, I tried so hard not to smudge it like how I usually kill my art, but I didnt succeed too well in keeping it clear. after doing the different layers in the eye of the 'color' (I wanted to make it look like fire. I'm talking about the swirlies if I'm starting to get confusing), and then the village and then the fire and then the smoke... yeah, smudgeville. and I had been intending on doing the shinies, on the eye, but I decided it was shading enough. And I didnt want it to look too wet, because I'm making a series out of these! well, I guess its not a 'series', but I'm going to do a bunch of them. and one of them will be crying, so that is where I will do the shinies. or when. I need to stop talking now.

oh, btw, I'll put up a WIP picture of this, when I was watching TV my new puppy decided to crawl up on my lap and go to sleep and its suuuuuuch an adorable picture, and its before the eye got so smudgy. I love it. so I'll put it up soon. okay, ahve a nice morning/afternoon/niiiight
