The geomantic figure cauda draconis. Cauda draconis is Latin for "dragon's tail" and is associated with the element of fire and the south node of the Moon in the sign of Ophiuchus.
Cauda draconis signifies endings and completion. It also stands for disruptions and losses. In a divination it urges you to let go of the past. It tends to be good in evil company and vice versa. It is also a figure of generosity. It is favorable in situations where something comes to an end, but otherwise rather unfavorable.
For my card image I chose a landscape at night with the star chart for the constellation Draco projected over the southern sky showing the tail of the dragon. The winter landscape and the tracks leading away from the house in the distance allude to cauda draconis as signifying endings and the outer threshold.
